“All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl.”
I would say:
“All I need to be creative is a basil leaf, a red chilli pepper and a tomato!”
I'm Michele, married to Wanda and father of two wonderful daughters, Giorgia and Erika.
I was born in Reggio Calabria, in the South of Italy, and my professional life has taken me around Italy and the world. Along the way, I discovered countless food traditions, flavours and ingredients.
But every journey always brought me back to the same place: my kitchen.
I love recreating dishes I've tasted during my travels, experimenting with flavours and adding my own little twist — often with a touch of Calabria: chilli pepper, 'nduja, Tropea onion or sun-dried tomatoes.
I believe good cooking doesn't have to be complicated. Simple, quality ingredients and a little creativity can make something special.
And for me, cooking is also about sharing.

That's why we decided to open our home to travellers visiting Bergamo.
Our kitchen is our classroom.
Our table is our meeting place.
